January 2024

LifeVantage is dedicated to helping people live healthy, vibrant lives. And we believe our impact on the world is closely linked to that mission. Our definition of success means that our environmental, social, and governance practices align with our vision of activating wellness through exceptional products and entrepreneurial programs. Our Board of Directors is committed to our Sustainability and Social efforts and it is a topic discussed in each Board meeting with more in depth discussion twice per year.

“At LifeVantage, we know the health of our customers, independent Consultants, and employees is closely tied to the health of our communities and our planet. As we help people find a better path to wellness, we will never lose focus on our global impact, not only to drive long-term growth, but also because it’s the right thing to do.”

Product Quality & Safety

Uncompromising quality, safety, and efficacy is non-negotiable. We develop every LifeVantage product based on credible science and our commitment to “clean” ingredients that activate the body to help improve health and well-being. We work closely with our key suppliers to ensure their facilities and practices meet product safety and quality guidelines. Each product is manufactured to strict quality standards and tested and verified before release. There have been no product recalls at LifeVantage in the past several years. We also do not generate any hazardous waste in the manufacturing of our products.

The company has not experienced any occupational health and safety accidents, injuries or fatalities in the last several years.

LifeVantage does not use Palm Oil directly in any of its products, however there are palm oil derivatives in many products. We have confirmed the source of the derivatives used in our TrueScience line are from RSPO approved sustainable sources. We are committed to confirming all our palm oil derivatives are sourced from RSPO approved sustainable sources by 2030.

Environmental Responsibility

Protecting the planet is an ongoing priority for LifeVantage. The fish oils we use in our products are all sourced from suppliers with fisheries that are Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certified. And we are taking steps to further reduce our environmental impact by improving the sustainability of our products, packaging, and shipping materials.

We recently engaged a third party to conduct a baseline study of our Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions. The results are included in the chart below:

While this is our baseline data, we hope to further reduce our Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 10% in the next 5 years with a focus on the fleet fuel as a priority.

LifeVantage recently set goals of being carbon neutral by 2050 and reducing our GHG emissions by 20% by 2030. As part of this goal, we have a milestone related to reducing GHG associated with parcel shipping by 50% by June 30, 2024. We have implemented changes to our parcel shipping practices to ensure we are tracking towards this goal and have made significant progress without sacrificing customer satisfaction.

LifeVantage has historically included an ESG metric as part of the employee bonus program, historically focused on the Social aspect. In fiscal year 2024 we changed the 5% ESG employee bonus target is to be focused on reducing our environmental footprint by: completing a parcel shipment baseline analysis and reduce the associated CO2 emissions by 50% and significantly reducing our waste footprint in 3 specific areas. To date, we are making significant progress on all these environmental goals.
